We have been advised (more than once) to hire someone to work out the algebra. Up until now we have been very lucky to find all the help we’ve asked for among the users of the online forums that serve the scientific community.
A t-shirt campaign at teespring.com/synchronous-geometry has been initiated in order to try and raise money. If enough interest is shown, we will be able to pay for either a mathematician to help us write a grant proposal, or to hire an animator to produce a short video that will better explain how the math works.
In any case, we are trying to provoke responses from anyone who understands the math (this means you if the challenge appears to be within your capabilities.)
